The City of Westminster is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team. As a Qualified Social Worker in the CIN Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to appropriate services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Engaging in reflective practice and supervision to continually develop your professional skills.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIN context. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
