Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team in Devon, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and their families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the needs of children and young people in challenging circumstances, ensuring their welfare and promoting their well-being. Your expertise will contribute to the development of tailored support plans, enabling families to thrive and children to achieve their full potential.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Developing and implementing intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to share insights and improve practice. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a children’s social work setting, particularly with CIN cases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
