We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and engaging with children to understand their experiences and needs. Working closely with other professionals, including schools, health services, and law enforcement, to promote multi-agency working. Maintaining accurate and timely records of your work and ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to navigate challenges and access appropriate resources.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
