Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children in Need/Child Protection (CIN/CP) Team in Derbyshire, where your expertise can make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of vulnerable children and families, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and reviewing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other agencies. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintaining accurate and timely case records and reports in compliance with local and national policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of integrated services.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a CIN/CP team or similar setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection.
