Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Nottingham, where your expertise will make a profound difference in the lives of children and families in need. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Social Worker to work within our Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children, conducting assessments, and implementing intervention strategies to support families in crisis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA, MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a CIN/CP setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
