We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Children in Our Care (CIOC) Team in Blackburn. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality support and intervention, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children in care, helping them to achieve positive outcomes. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social work, particularly with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
