Join our dedicated team in Manchester as a Children's Social Worker within the Complex Safeguarding Team. We are seeking passionate and qualified professionals to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk. Your expertise will be vital in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a safeguarding context, particularly with children and families. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
