Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Court Team in Aylesbury, where your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker who is passionate about child welfare and committed to providing high-quality support in a court setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children.
As a key member of our Court Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Preparing and presenting evidence in court, advocating for the best interests of children. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working within a court setting and knowledge of relevant legislation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
