Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Children's Social Work - Child Protection Team in Manchester, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. We are seeking an experienced professional who is committed to delivering high-quality support and safeguarding services.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Working closely with partner agencies to promote the welfare of children and facilitate multi-agency meetings. Providing support and guidance to families to empower them and promote positive change. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in child protection settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across agencies.
