Join our dedicated team as a Children's Social Worker in the CP/Assess Team in Swindon, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the best outcomes for children in need. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and relevant agencies. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements and best practices.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
