Join our dedicated team in Oxfordshire as a Children’s Social Worker specializing in Child Protection and Children’s Homes. In this rewarding role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting families in need. Your expertise will contribute to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Carrying out regular visits to children in care and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records. Working closely with partner agencies, including schools and health services, to coordinate support. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s services, particularly in child protection and children’s homes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
