Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Southwark is seeking a dynamic Children's Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding children, promoting their welfare, and ensuring that their voices are heard in the decision-making processes that affect their lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring that all interventions are evidence-based and outcome-focused. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access appropriate services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA Social Work, MA Social Work, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
