Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work – Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Bedford, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families facing unique challenges. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services that promote the welfare and development of children with disabilities. Your expertise will help ensure that these children receive the support they need to thrive in their home and community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans for children with disabilities. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to implement support services. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments. Providing emotional support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the complexities of disability services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national guidelines.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
