We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our CWD Team in Blackburn. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work support to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and developing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals Providing direct support and interventions to children and families to promote positive outcomes Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities within the legal framework Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to ensure coordinated and effective support Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registration with Social Work England Strong understanding of legislation and policies related to children with disabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
