Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Derbyshire, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people with disabilities. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure the best outcomes for our most vulnerable children. Your expertise will be essential in assessing needs, developing care plans, and safeguarding children, all while promoting their independence and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children with disabilities and their families. Working closely with health, education, and community services to coordinate support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
