Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Herefordshire is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure the best outcomes for children with disabilities.

As a Children's Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children with disabilities. Providing support and guidance to families to promote the well-being and development of children. Working closely with other professionals, including health services, educational institutions, and community organizations. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organizational standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
