As a Children’s Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children’s needs and developing appropriate care plans. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Active registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
