The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. As a Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and development of children. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic support is provided. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Providing advice, advocacy, and support to families, empowering them to navigate available services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
