Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children With Disabilities (CWD) Team in Manchester as a Qualified Social Worker. In this crucial role, you will provide support, advocacy, and intervention for children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess and implement care plans, promoting the well-being and development of children in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and appropriate interventions. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children with disabilities and their families, fostering independence and resilience. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and an understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
