Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with disabilities? Join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Rochdale as a Qualified Social Worker. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care. Your expertise will help navigate complex situations and provide essential support to vulnerable children and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children with disabilities. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to promote the welfare and safety of children. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and services. Monitoring and reviewing care plans, making necessary adjustments based on the evolving needs of children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national policies.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with diverse groups.
