Join our dedicated team as a Children's Social Worker (CWD Team) in Swindon, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children with disabilities and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and support children with complex needs, ensuring they receive the care and resources necessary to thrive. You will work collaboratively with families, educational institutions, and other professionals to develop tailored support plans that promote the well-being and development of each child.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are informed of available resources and services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
