The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) and Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate support services and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them to access resources and services.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
