Join our dedicated Children's Social Work (SW) team in Liverpool, where you will play a crucial role in the lives of children and families within our community. As a Qualified Social Worker in the Children and Young People’s Service (CYPS), you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing tailored intervention plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those you support. Your expertise will help to foster positive relationships and empower families to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives to protect vulnerable children.To be considered for this position, you must possess:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social services, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
