We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Drug and Alcohol Team in Bury. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention to children and families affected by substance misuse.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support Providing direct intervention and therapeutic support to children and families Monitoring and reviewing the progress of cases to ensure positive outcomes Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required

The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Experience working within a Children's Services setting, preferably in a Drug and Alcohol Team Strong knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases effectively
