Join our dedicated team as a Children’s Social Worker within the Emergency Duty Team in Lincolnshire. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their welfare during critical situations. Your expertise will help to assess urgent needs, provide immediate support, and develop appropriate intervention strategies in collaboration with families, other professionals, and agencies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families in crisis to identify immediate risks and needs. Developing and implementing action plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to coordinate effective responses and resources. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes and resilience. Documenting casework accurately and maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with local and national standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in emergency or crisis settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
