We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Social Worker for our Emergency Duty Team in Yorkshire. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assessing urgent needs, providing immediate support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Responding to emergency referrals and conducting thorough risk assessments. Developing and implementing safety plans to protect children at risk. Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to coordinate effective interventions. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families in crisis, facilitating access to resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting, particularly in emergency or crisis situations. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
