As a Children's Social Worker within our Families First Team, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Managing a caseload effectively and maintaining accurate records in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and families.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly within a family support context. Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
