Join our dedicated Families Help Team in Coventry as a Children’s Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and families in need. As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to provide comprehensive support and guidance to families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to promote family stability and child welfare. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions. Providing emotional support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
