The City of Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Families Hub Team. This role is pivotal in supporting families and children in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, providing assessments, interventions, and support to help them thrive in a nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family dynamics. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to promote the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard.To be successful in this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a solid understanding of child protection legislation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
