Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Family Finding Team in Birmingham, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that children in care are connected with their families and communities. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to improving outcomes for children and has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by families in crisis.

As a Children's Social Worker within the Family Finding Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective family finding strategies to locate and engage family members. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children. Providing support and guidance to families to facilitate reunification where appropriate. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family support services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
