We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Family Help Team in Hackney. This role is pivotal in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children and families within our community. As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will engage with families to provide comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support tailored to their unique needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies. Developing and implementing support plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other agencies. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and timely records, ensuring adherence to local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning for child welfare.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within a family support context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with families. Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
