Join our dedicated Family Help Team in Leicestershire as a Children's Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. As a qualified professional, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various agencies to assess needs, develop plans, and provide interventions that lead to positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's and families' needs. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families in crisis. Collaborating with schools, health services, and other agencies to ensure a holistic approach to family support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with safeguarding policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and court proceedings when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and families in a social work capacity. Strong assessment, analytical, and intervention skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A thorough understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
