We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker specializing in Family Safeguarding to join our team in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertaking assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families Developing and implementing care plans to support the safety and welfare of children Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional requirements or benefits:

Experience in Family Safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex caseloads Opportunities for professional development and training A supportive team environment and opportunities for career progression
