Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Conducting regular visits to families in their homes to monitor progress and provide ongoing support. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and other social services, to coordinate effective interventions. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with local authority policies.
