Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Children’s Social Worker and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in need. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families to promote safety, well-being, and positive outcomes for children. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing family situations, developing tailored intervention plans, and ensuring that children receive the support they deserve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate support and resources for families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are empowered to make positive changes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognised social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to best practice.
