As a Children's Social Worker in our Family Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks, developing and implementing care plans. Working closely with families to provide support and interventions that promote positive change. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance your professional development.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection, safeguarding, or family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
