Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Family Support Team. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing them with the support they need to thrive. As a member of our Family Support Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them to access services and resources. Collaborating with other professionals, including education, health, and community services, to ensure a holistic approach to family support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a social work context. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
