The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work Family Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of children, working collaboratively with families to promote positive outcomes and support their development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. At least two years of post-qualifying experience in children's social work. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
