Join our dedicated Children's Social Work First Response/Assessment Team in Leicestershire, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for responding to referrals, conducting assessments, and ensuring that children receive the support they need in a timely manner. Your expertise will contribute to making informed decisions that positively impact the lives of vulnerable children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and families in crisis. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to create effective intervention strategies. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Providing support and guidance to families to foster positive outcomes for children. Participating in case conferences and contributing to care planning processes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
