Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Fostering Team in Cambridgeshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children in foster care and their foster families. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children while ensuring their voices are heard.

As a Children's Social Worker within our Fostering Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children and families to develop effective care plans. Conducting home visits and providing support to foster families to ensure the best outcomes for children. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a fostering or children’s social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
