As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and young people in foster care and developing tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and regular reviews to monitor the progress and well-being of children in placements. Providing training and ongoing support to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to provide a nurturing environment. Collaborating with schools, health services, and other professionals to advocate for the best interests of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legislative and organizational requirements.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and fostering, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
