Join our dynamic Front Door Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children’s Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring they receive the support and services they need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and triaging referrals to determine the appropriate level of intervention. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective child protection plans. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
