We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Front Door Team in Leicester. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for children and families in need of support, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your expertise will be essential in assessing situations, determining risk levels, and providing appropriate interventions to promote positive outcomes for children and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting initial assessments and screening referrals for children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Developing and implementing safety plans and interventions tailored to individual needs. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access necessary resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
