The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Front Door Team. This pivotal role involves working at the forefront of child protection and safeguarding, ensuring the welfare of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing needs, managing referrals, and providing timely interventions to support vulnerable children and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting initial assessments and determining eligibility for services. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their well-being. Developing and implementing care plans in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's services, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
