We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work Front Door Team in North Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being by providing timely and effective interventions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and responding to referrals regarding children in need. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement safeguarding plans. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they receive appropriate services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s social care, particularly in a front door or assessment setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
