We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Front Door Team in South Gloucestershire. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Responding to referrals and conducting assessments to determine the level of support needed by children and families. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to develop and implement child protection plans. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations. Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England. Experience in working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.
