Are you an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Help & Protection Team. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing support and intervention where needed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Managing a caseload of children in need and those at risk of harm, ensuring timely interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker status (Social Work degree or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's services, particularly in a Help & Protection context. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
