Gateshead Council is seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Integrated Referral Team. As a Children’s Social Worker in the Integrated Referral Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks for children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate services and interventions. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
