Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Intervention Team in Barnet, where your expertise can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified and passionate social worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will engage with families, assess their needs, and implement effective interventions to support positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and relevant agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with statutory requirements. Working proactively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support and services. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required.To be considered for this position, you must possess:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in intervention and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
