Join our dedicated Kinship Care Team in Stockport as a Children's Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and qualified individual to provide high-quality support to children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with kinship carers, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with kinship carers. Providing ongoing support and guidance to kinship families. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to promote the welfare of children.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in kinship care. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
