Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Kinship Team in Bolton, where your expertise can make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to supporting kinship care arrangements and ensuring the best outcomes for vulnerable children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, community resources, and other professionals to provide essential support and guidance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families in kinship care arrangements. Developing and implementing care plans in line with local and national policies. Providing ongoing support and supervision to kinship carers. Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate case records. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in kinship care. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
