Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Worcestershire as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Kinship and Fostering. We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, foster carers, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of care and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of kinship and foster placements to ensure they meet the needs of the children. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers and kinship families. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working within children's social services, particularly in kinship and fostering. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
